Curated by Derek Hampson, Hearing Bertolt Brecht brought together 3 artists to explore the role of listening in rhetorical exchange; in this case the 1947 public hearing at which the German poet and playwright Bertolt Brecht was interrogated on his political beliefs by the House Un-American Activities Committee.

Artists Derek Hampson, Peter Hofer and Peter Suchin created the artworks using a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, audio and text.
